Fans, Songwriters, Supporters
The Red Lodge Songwriters Festival is a special “coming together” time for songwriters and you, our fans, to gather and share this incredible musical experience in our intimate mountain community. We’re really excited to enjoy the friendship, talent and togetherness with our fans and songwriters.
The Red Lodge Songwriter Festival is the primary annual fundraising event of the Rocky Mountain Songwriter Festival’s Inc. and our work to support music education in our Montana communities. This year’s cancellation due to COVID-19 will have a significant impact on the organization. RMSWFs is gratefully welcoming donations to help continue to fund our organization.
Thanks to your ongoing support over the last five years, ticket sales and sponsor contributions to the Red Lodge Songwriter Festivals have allowed us to contribute more than $40,000 in mission-based grants. These grants have helped to fund music education in our local schools, fund the healing of wounded veterans and created a music scholarship endowment at MSU-Billings in the memory of Dave Kirby.
The show will go on. With the significant decline in infection rates and number of vaccines being administered in Carbon County and Montana we are confident we can host our annual festival safely. The health and safety of our fans, songwriters, volunteers, and community are our top concern, if these positive tends change, we will obviously reevaluate our plans.
